Simon Corner, born in Doncaster, began piano at age 6 and later earned his BMus from the University of Hull, studying organ with John Scott Whiteley (Organist Emeritus – York Minster). At university, he was Director of Chapel Music and a sought-after accompanist and musical director, contributing to many societies and official functions.

Now Head of Music at Wales High School (Rotherham), Simon remains in high demand as an organist, pianist, and musical director across the region. He also serves as Musical Director at St. Hugh’s Church, Doncaster, and Rehearsal Pianist for Doncaster Choral Society.

With a wide-ranging musical background, Simon is equally at home on the organ bench, in orchestras and theatres—and even makes the occasional appearance in local jazz clubs!
